What to Expect for Opening Day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort
On Friday, May 31, 2024, summer operations kick off at Revelstoke Mountain Resort! The renowned Pipe Mountain Coaster is back offering 1.4km of twists, turns, and drops through forests and across ski runs. The Bike Park will also be ready to ride with lift access to the trail network on the lower mountain. No matter your activity of choice, a fun-filled après will be waiting for you. Enjoy live music and happy hour specials every day of the week.

Pipe Mountain Coaster
One of the resort's summer highlights is the renowned Pipe Mountain Coaster. A second track was introduced last summer, allowing thrill-seekers to double down on the fun. Riders can reach speeds up to 42km/hr but are in control of their own speed, making the Pipe Mountain Coaster the perfect activity for the entire family to enjoy.
Riders are welcome to ride alone or accompany passengers between the ages of 3-9 years if the following height and weight requirements are met:
- To ride alone you must be at least 4'1" or taller and 8 years old.
- To ride with a passenger, you must be at least 19 years of age.
- Passengers must be 3 to 9 years old and have a minimum height of 96cm/3'2".
- The combined maximum weight capacity per cart is 118kg (260lbs).
Bike Park
It's time to dust off your bike because the entire lower mountain is ready to ride! Ease into the season with Salad Fingers, our machine-built green trail offering riders 4.1km of pure flow. From there, progress to more challenging trails like Fifty Six Twenty and Dust Punk for a variety of flow, tech, drops and pops. If you're looking for some airtime, End Game is calling your name. Tickets and Passes
Guest Services is currently open from 9:15 am – 5:15 pm. If you’re looking to pre-purchase your MTB Season Pass, Vertical Card, or tickets, please visit our online store. After completing your purchase, you will receive an email with a QR code to pick up your pass or card from our outdoor kiosk, located just outside Guest Services.
Local Appreciation Days
Looking for a fun afternoon around town? From May 31 – June 21, residents from the CSRD (Columbia Shuswap Regional District) save 50% off tickets for the Pipe Mountain Coaster. To purchase your tickets, visit Guest Services on-site and show a piece of government issued I.D. which clearly indicates your home address in the CSRD area. Please note, tickets cannot be purchased in advance.
Eligible Areas: Revelstoke, Golden, Sicamous, Salmon Arm, and seven rural Electoral Areas. More info on the CSRD.
Fuel Up
The Rockford Bar | Grill is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm daily. Whether you're looking for some pre-ride fuel, or post-adventure aprés, grab a seat on the scenic Rockford patio or snag a table inside. Enjoy live music and choose from a great selection of craft beer, delicious appetizers, and happy hour specials every day of the week from 3:00pm to 5:00pm.
Summer Kick-off Pop-up: The Mackenzie Tavern will be serving up $7.00 pulled-pork sandwiches and $5.00 beverages in Paul Mair Plaza from 12pm-5pm on Saturday, June 1.
R-Gear
Need a new lid? Gloves or jersey? R-Gear has you covered. Get kitted out in the latest MTB gear from Fox, Dakine, Smith, and more. And don’t forget, Season Passholders save 10%.
Rentals
Need wheels? No problem. Our Rental Shop will be open from 9:45 am – 5:15 pm daily, offering the latest DH, Enduro, and e-Bikes from Commencal, Specialized, Scott, Cannondale, and GT. Pop by and talk to our experienced staff to find the perfect bike for your adventure.
Get Tuned Up
Show your bike some love. Our Repair Shop is currently accepting service requests with a short turnaround time. Whether you’re after a tune-up, brake bleed, drivetrain adjustment, or general repairs, our expert technicians are on hand to get your ride running right. Visit us next to the Rental Shop on the main village stroll.
Mountain Bike School
The Resort’s Mountain Sports School, offers a wide variety of programs, including Kids Camps (age 8+), Ladies Clinics, Guided Tours, Private Lessons, and Group Lessons. Each session caters to riders of all levels looking to advance their skills and experience. Visit us at Guest Services to discover what program is right for you.
