Revelstoke Mountain Highline
As of Summer 2025, a new suspension bridge, viewing platform, and cliff walk hiking trail will be introduced just off the top of the Revelation Gondola, providing “easy access Instagram moments” with spectacular views of Mt. Begbie, the Columbia Valley and the City of Revelstoke. Offering a breathtaking perspective, this promises to be a must-visit attraction for both locals and tourists seeking unforgettable scenic encounters.
The Details
Nestled on Mount Mackenzie’s mid-west flank within Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s Controlled Recreation Area, the cliff walk hiking trail offers an unforgettable journey through nature with breathtaking views. Starting at the Revelation Gondola Top Station at approximately 1,650 metres (5,400 feet), the adventure follows the existing Revelstoke View Deck trail. Meandering through a sample of the world's only inland temparate rainforest, the trail emerges atop a cliff bluff with panoramic vistas of downtown Revelstoke and the stunning Columbia Valley.

AN ELEVATED EXPERIENCE
What to expect
To access this must-see attraction, guests will need to purchase a sightseeing ticket and take a ride all the way to the top of the Revelation Gondola. From there, a scenic 300-meter paved trail leads to the Revelstoke View Deck. Continuing on, a short 150-metre walk will bring you to the south end of the 75-metre long suspension bridge. Spanning 20 metres above the ground, the bridge provides thrilling views and an immersive experience in nature. After crossing, enjoy another short 400-metre walk back to the gondola.
