Meet Your Guide
As a Canadian Avalanche Association (CAA) Professional Member and Avalanche Operation Level 1 Course Leader, Tomoaki is deeply involved in avalanche education, safety and history to build awareness in Canada and Japan. He also serves as an instructor and working group member for European Mountain Safety.info’s Avalanche Search and Rescue courses and is an Avalanche Canada AST and Companion Rescue provider. With practical experience and Avalanche rescue expertise as a Selkirk Tangiers Heli Ski Guide and a part-time professional ski patrol at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Tomoaki ensures the safety and enjoyment of adventurers in some of the most challenging terrains. Additionally, during summer season he contributes to the visitor experience at Mt. Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks as a Visitor Experience staff member.
