What To Expect For Opening Day 2023
The 2023/24 winter season kicks off on Saturday, December 9. Our team has been working overtime to ensure we start the season off right. We are excited to finally open the gates for the season but want to make sure you have all the information needed heading into opening day. Read on to find out everything you need to know about conditions, what’s open, and what to expect this weekend.
Terrain & Conditions
Typical to opening conditions, base depth varies depending on terrain and elevation. The alpine has received a lot of snow over the past week, but in recent days, all elevations were hit by rain. Guests can expect heavy snow, crusts, and ice at lower elevations.
Unmarked hazards remain close to the surface throughout the mountain including rocks, obstacles, trees, stumps, ditches, and varying terrain. Be aware of your surroundings and use caution while riding at the Resort over the coming weeks as the snow accumulates. Watch out for open creeks, deadfall, unmarked rocks, and hazards at all elevations.
Snow conditions below the Stoke Chair and on the Ninja Traverse are marginal - The Last Spike is recommended below the Stoke Chair, or downloading via the Revelation Gondola.
Lifts
- Upper and Lower Revelation Gondola
